Operator and contact

This Site is operated by K-er Co., Ltd. (주식회사 케이어), known as K-er (pronounced kay-er). The company name is final; the remaining business details, including the representative, registration number and address, will be posted on this page under Korea's E-Commerce Act and related laws once incorporation is complete.

Contact: food@k-er.ai. For how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What this Site is

The Cooking Transfer AI website (the "Site") is for information only: it introduces the company, outlines the technology and gathers expressions of interest from head restaurants and restaurant companies. It is not any of the following:

  • A franchise offering. (In Korea, that is a separate step that follows registration of a franchise disclosure document under the Franchise Act.)
  • An offer or solicitation of securities, investments or financial products.
  • A statement or suggestion of specific financial performance, revenue or returns.

2. How franchise sales work

In Korea, a franchise contract follows Article 9 of the Franchise Act: the franchise disclosure document is provided and registered, a 14-day cooling-off period passes, independent advice is given by a lawyer or a Franchise Transaction Specialist, and only then is the formal franchise contract signed. For expansion into the United States, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) process applies as well.

The /en/apply form on this Site is a way to express interest before those formal procedures begin. Submitting it creates no legal obligation.

3. Financial performance is not disclosed

The following are not disclosed on this Site:

  • Specific figures or scenario-based projections of revenue, margins or royalties.
  • Equity split ratios or sale prices if a brand is sold.
  • How revenue is shared among the franchisor, head restaurants and master partners.

This information is provided only through the Korean franchise disclosure document or the U.S. FDD, as part of the formal franchise process.

4. External market data

The K-food market figures cited on the Vision & Market page come from publicly available external sources (Circana, Statista, Dataintelo, NYT, Eater LA and others). They do not represent or imply the financial performance of this business.

5. Disclaimer

Information on this Site reflects the facts at the time it was written. Changes in technology, markets or law may later make some of it inaccurate, and the Site accepts no legal liability for this. All facts are confirmed again in writing at the formal contract stage.

6. Governing law and jurisdiction

The operation of this Site is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Seoul Central District Court has jurisdiction at first instance over any dispute.

The final wording of this page will be settled after legal review, at the official launch stage.
